A man, said to be in his 30s, died by suicide at Kopar Railway Station in Maharashtra's Thane district on Sunday, news agency PTI reported, quoting an officer. The incident briefly halted train movement.

According to officers from the Dombivli unit of the Government Railway Police (GRP), the man had been seen loitering on the platform for some time before the incident.
