A fire broke out during the late hours of Sunday in an open shed at Balkum in Thane (West). The officials from the Disaster Management Room confirmed that the blaze was successfully extinguished within two hours, with no injuries reported.

According to information received at around 10:50 pm on February 15, the blaze occurred next to Ghazal Hotel in New Mahalaxmi Nagar, Balkum Pada No. 1, Balkum, Thane (W).
