Thane: Fire breaks out at popular eatery, no casualties reported

A fire broke out at Walk and Grill Express in Thane early Monday, quickly extinguished with no casualties. Meanwhile, a fire at Goldcrest building in Ghatkopar, Mumbai injured six and led to the rescue of 280 people. Fire brigades efficiently managed both incidents, preventing further damage

In an unfortunate incident at Thane, a fire broke out during the late hours of Monday. The incident happened at the popular eatery Walk and Grill Express, located on the ground floor of Abhijeet Society, Dada Patil Wadi, Thane (W).

According to the authorities, the incident was initially reported at 12:05 am on October 14 by local public representative Mr Sanjay Waghule. As per the preliminary information provided by the authorities, the fire originated from a microwave oven inside the shop owned by Rupesh Malabari. Soon, the small fire turned into a massive mishap, causing a ruckus all around the locality.
