BJP leader Ram Kadam on Wednesday lashed out at the Congress and Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi for questioning the government's decision to call off military operations following the Pahalgam attack. Kadam defended the move, stating that India acted purely in its national interest and not under any foreign pressure.
Kadam challenged the Congress’s stance, accusing them of echoing “Pakistan’s script.” Responding to Gandhi’s sharp remarks during the debate on Operation Sindoor, he said, “What more does Rahul Gandhi want to hear? Why is the Congress repeatedly reading out Pakistan’s script in our Parliament?”
He added, "During his speech in the Parliament, PM Modi clearly said that India did not come under the pressure of any other country to stop the war. Our motive was complete, and that is why we stopped it."
