Brace for a warm day ahead as IMD predicts mercury to reach 35 degrees Celsius

The city is likely to experience warm conditions ahead as the maximum temperature is likely to reach 35 degrees Celsius, according to the India Meteorological Department's (IMD) latest weather update. The minimum temperature is expected to hover at 19 degrees Celsius

Mumbai woke up to slightly chilly Friday morning. However, the city is likely to experience warm conditions ahead as the maximum temperature is likely to reach 35 degrees Celsius, according to the India Meteorological Department's (IMD) latest weather update. The minimum temperature is expected to hover at 19 degrees Celsius. 

According to the weather bureau's latest predictions issued at 10 am, Mumbai is likely to witness "partly clear skies in the city and suburbs".
