Mumbai weather: IMD issues yellow alert for city, Thane; light rain likely

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday issued a yellow nowcast warning for Mumbai and Thane, forecasting light spells of rain over the next three hours.
The alert, issued at 7 am IST, advises residents to take necessary precautions as intermittent rainfall may affect parts of the region during the morning hours.
