Mumbai weather: Clear skies, hot weather in city; AQI remains 'Satisfactory'

The city’s air quality on Friday remained in the satisfactory category, with an overall Air Quality Index (AQI) of 88, according to the Central Pollution Control Board’s Sameer App.

Mumbai on Friday witnessed mainly clear skies across the city and suburbs on Friday as the city continued to witness hot weather conditions, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting maximum and minimum temperatures of around 35 degrees Celsius and 23 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Meanwhile, the city’s air quality remained in the satisfactory category, with an overall Air Quality Index (AQI) of 88, according to the Central Pollution Control Board’s Sameer App. But, Andheri East recorded high pollution  levels on Friday morning.
