Mumbai University's law students shine at WIPO's inaugural IP Moot Court contest

Two law students from the University of Mumbai Law Academy (UMLA) have secured the second place at the inaugural World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) IP Moot Court competition, which was held at the WIPO headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.

Arya Gautam, a fifth-year BBA LLB Hons student, and Sanskriti Sharma, a fourth-year BBA LLB Hons student, represented UMLA and the University of Mumbai in the final rounds of the competition, held from April 23 to 25. The students were guided by Dr Rajeshri N Varhadi, UMLA’s In-charge Director.
