Mumbai Traffic Police ban heavy vehicles, water tankers on Borivali East roads

Mumbai Police have issued a temporary notification banning heavy vehicles and water tankers on narrow roads in Borivali East from 8 am to 9 pm every day to reduce traffic congestion and prevent accidents. Exemptions include essential services, ambulances, and police vehicles

In a move aimed at reducing traffic congestion and preventing accidents, the Mumbai Traffic Police have issued a temporary notification prohibiting the entry of heavy vehicles and water tankers on several narrow roads in Borivali East. The notification, issued by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Western Suburbs, Ajit Borhade, on Wednesday, will be in effect on a trial basis for three months, until April 28.
