Mumbai since Monday morning has been experiencing heavy to very heavy rainfall, which has made the situation quite chaotic. With heavy rain showers all across the city, Nariman Point has received 252 mm of rainfall from Sunday, May 25, 11:00 am to Monday, May, 26, 10:00 am. The area located in the south of the city has been experiencing heavy showers along with thunderstorms since early Monday.
As per the data released by the authorities, apart from Nariman Point, there are four more areas in Mumbai that received more than 200 mm of rainfall since Sunday, 25 May. The other areas that have been hit badly by the monsoon on Monday are A Division office (216mm), Municipal Headquarters (214 mm), Colaba Rescue Station (207mm) and Eye Hospital Do Tanki (202mm).
