The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday said that Mumbai was likely to experience an early arrival of the monsoon this year and predicted that the city would witness seasonal rains in the next three days. 

The weather department said that Mumbai was likely to witness the onset of the southwest monsoon within the next three days, as conditions continue to turn favourable for its further advance.
