The IMD has issued a heavy to very heavy rain alert for Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, and Raigad, warning of gusty winds up to 55 kmph and possible urban flooding. Palghar is under red alert for extremely heavy rain. Coastal residents and fishermen are urged to stay alert as strong winds and tidal activity continue to affect the Konkan coast.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday warned of heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places across Mumbai and adjoining districts, accompanied by gusty winds reaching speeds of 45–55 kmph. The latest advisory also forecast intermittent intense spells of rain in parts of the city.
Thane and Raigad are expected to see similar weather, with heavy to very heavy showers likely at some locations along with strong surface winds. Palghar remains under a red alert, with predictions of extremely heavy rain at isolated spots and widespread downpours across the district. The IMD has also flagged rough weather and squally conditions in Ratnagiri and Raigad.
