The Central Railway on Thursday said that its Railway Protection Force (RPF) was successful in rescuing 163 children in co-ordination with Government Railway Police (GRP) and other frontline railway staff from railway station platforms of Central Railway under “Operation Nanhe Farishtey” in the month of May 2023.
The Central Railway said that these 163 rescued children include 133 boys and 30 girls and have been reunited with their parents with the help of NGOs.
