You can now get 50 per cent discount on Mumbai Metro Lines 2A and 7; here’s how

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) and Maha Mumbai Metro Operation Corporation Limited (MMMOCL) have enabled booking of quick response (QR)-code-based tickets for Metro Lines 2A (Dahisar East and Andheri West) and 7 (Dahisar East and Andheri East) directly on Uber app, using the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC).
The integration was announced on Wednesday by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Commuters can purchase tickets using the app and receive an instant 50 per cent discount, capped at Rs 10. Lines 2A and 7 currently serve over 3.5 lakh passengers every day.
