The Maha Mumbai Metro Operation Corporation Limited (MMMOCL) has launched a tender inviting bids for retail and commercial spaces across Metro Lines 2A and 7, as part of its strategy to strengthen Non-Fare Box Revenue (NFBR) streams. The initiative aims to enhance the financial sustainability of Mumbai Metro while maintaining affordable, high-quality services for commuters.
Under the Request for Proposal (RFP), a total of 68,166 sq. ft. of commercial space across 30 stations is being offered, including 472 kiosks and 25 block spaces, with 497 kiosks and blocks currently available for licensing. The license period has been set at five years for kiosks and 15 years for block spaces.
