A fire broke out in the ground-floor electrical room of a residential building on Waterfield Road in Bandra West on Thursday afternoon, triggering power disruptions in several surrounding buildings.

According to preliminary information, the incident occurred at around 1:40 pm at Hicons, a residential structure located along the busy Waterfield Road. The fire is believed to have originated in the building’s electrical installation area, leading to an immediate shutdown of electricity supply as a precautionary measure.
