Mumbai: Fire breaks out at Andheri hotel; all occupants safely rescued

Though no life loss is reported, many rooms have been gutted; fire controlled in an hour; according to officials, 35 people were trapped inside the hotel when the fire broke out

A major fire broke out early Monday morning at Jyoti Hotel, located in the Chakala area of Andheri East, causing panic among guests and local residents. The incident occurred around 3:00 am on the sixth floor of the building, quickly engulfing parts of the hotel and trapping several occupants inside.

All were safely rescued with no casualties, though several rooms were completely gutted.
