A man was dragged for nearly 10 to 12 metres on the bonnet of a car following a parking-related argument at the Mumbai airport in Vile Parle, police said, adding a case has been registered at the Airport police station against the accused based on the complaint filed by Santosh Yadav, 39.
The victim in this incident was Yadav’s colleague Afroz Siddiqui. According to the complaint, Yadav, who is employed as a security guard at the domestic airport, was on duty on Wednesday along with Siddiqui near the U-turn point at Terminal 1’s arrival exit area.
At around 1.30 pm, when Yadav and Siddiqui were managing traffic in the area, they noticed a white car parked improperly. At Yadav’s instruction, Siddiqui asked the driver, Mohammad Shadab Khan, to move the vehicle. However, Khan ignored the request. When Siddiqui repeated the request, Khan began arguing instead. Siddiqui then called out to Yadav and informed him that the driver was refusing to move the car.
