An artist can turn adversity into creativity, they say. Well, Raj Pathare aka Mooz just did that. An accident in a rickshaw at Ulwe last month left the graffiti artist with a torn ligament in the left shoulder. But since he could not step out of the house, Pathare turned up on the terrace of his apartment to create a new mural of the supervillain Galactus. “I could not go out to recce walls since I could not carry my bag. So, I decided to use the ignored wall on the terrace. I got it levelled. There was scaffolding available owing to ongoing work, so I used that. I was really dying to paint,” he revealed. The 15-feet-mural was completed over a span of two days. “I have always found the size of Galactus quite interesting in the comics, and with the movie coming out, it just felt right,” Pathare told this diarist.
