Mumbai: Covid-19 infection among under-19 category up 11 per cent in 12 days

Less than two weeks after a majority of the schools in the city reopened, cases among children under 19, many of whom are yet to be eligible for vaccines, have gone up by 11 per cent. In another worrying trend, ICU admissions in Mumbai have risen by about 26 per cent, though doctors insisted it wasn’t much compared to the overall number of Covid cases.
