Mumbai will host the country’s first-ever climate summit from February 17 to 19, 2026. The three-day event will bring together national and international leaders including Hillary Clinton to discuss climate action and sustainable development, an official statement said on Sunday.
The initiative has been organised by Project Mumbai with support from the Maharashtra government’s Environment and Climate Change Department. It is also backed by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority and the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation.
