Mumbai: Car lift accident in Borivali claims one life, injures another

A car lift collapsed into a 7-meter pit at Om Prathamesh Building in Borivali, trapping two men. One was declared dead, while the other sustained a head injury

An accident was reported on Saturday at 11:08 am by the Mumbai Fire Brigade (BMC’s MFB) at Om Prathamesh Building, Link Road, Borivali West.
A car parking lift collapsed into a 7-meter-deep car lift pit in the G+21 floor building, trapping two individuals.
Firemen rescued both trapped people and transported them to the BDBA Shatabdi Hospital in a police van.
