A 28-year-old man allegedly jumped into Kasheli creek in Maharashtra’s Thane district on Monday morning, prompting a search and rescue operation by local authorities, officials said.
According to the news agency PTI, the incident took place around 10 am on the road linking Kasheli to Thane West, according to officials.
