Parts of Vidarbha in Maharashtra are likely to witness thunderstorms with lightning and heavy rains are likely at isolated places this week, the Meteorological Department said in a weather bulletin on Wednesday.

According to the bulletin, a 'Yellow' alert for July 12 to July 16 was issued for several parts of Vidarbha including Nagpur, Wardha, Bhandara, Gondia, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Amravati, Akola, Yavatmal and Washim.
