The Director General of Training, Department of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (DSDE), has approved the introduction of new courses in 70 Government Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in Maharashtra, Mangal Prabhat Lodha, state Minister of Skill Development, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation stated.
He added that the changing curriculum will “revolutionise” ITIs in Maharashtra by increasing employment opportunities.
Meanwhile, approval has also been given for setting up of Government High-Level Industrial Training Institute at Chembur in Mumbai, the minister added.
