Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray on Wednesday wrote to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, urging immediate action to support farmers who have suffered heavy losses due to continuous and extreme rainfall in parts of the state.
In the letter, posted on his X account, Raj Thackeray said that the unseasonal rains, which began in mid-May, have devastated several parts of rural Maharashtra. Farmlands have been washed away, and crops have been destroyed on a large scale.
