Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange on Monday accused Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) party workers of tearing down banners put up by Maratha supporters outside a village to stop visits by political leaders.

Jarange’s reaction came in the wake of the clash between the supporters of Maratha reservation and BJP activists at Boregaon Jahangir village in Bhokardan tehsil in Jalna district on Sunday.  Bhokardan tehsil is the hometown of BJP leader and Union Minister Raosaheb Danve.
