Maharashtra to finalise three-language policy after public opinion

A special committee led by Dr Narendra Jadhav has been formed to gather public opinion and prepare the best recommendations in the interest of students across the state, an official statement said

The Maharashtra government will finalise the new three-language policy, as per the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, take a statewide public opinion on its implementation, officials said on Wednesday.

The state is now taking a consultative approach to finalising the new three-language policy.
