Maharashtra becomes first state to deploy AI-powered MahaCrimeOS

Maharashtra has become the first state in India to equip its police with the AI-powered MahaCrimeOS platform to accelerate cybercrime investigations. Launched at the Microsoft AI Tour, the system is live in 23 Nagpur police stations and will expand to all 1,100 stations in the state

In view of speeding up cybercrime investigations, Maharashtra has become the first Indian state to equip its police force with an artificial intelligence-powered platform.

The AI-driven system, called MahaCrimeOS AI, was unveiled at the Microsoft AI Tour in Mumbai, marking a major step in India's digital policing efforts, reported ANI.
