Western Railway (WR) has announced extensive security and crowd-management arrangements at Mumbai’s Dadar Station ahead of Mahaparinirvan Diwas on December 6, when lakhs of followers of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar are expected to visit Chaityabhoomi.
According to a press release issued by WR, nearly 700 personnel from the Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force (RPF) will be deployed round the clock across platforms, foot overbridges, entry–exit gates and other areas of the station.
