Gudi Padwa 2026: Girgaon comes alive with vibrant processions, dhol-tasha beat

Gudi Padwa, the Marathi New Year, was on Thursday celebrated with great enthusiasm in Girgaon, one of Mumbai’s most culturally vibrant neighbourhoods.
The area came alive with traditional fervour as residents gathered to take part in colourful processions, accompanied by the rhythmic beats of dhol-tasha.
