A heated argument, over returning money paid to her husband due to his alleged shoddy work, proved costly for a 26-year-old woman on Thursday. The Ghatkopar resident died when the woman who was demanding the money back hit her with a rolling pin on her head and pushed her. The accused woman has been arrested.

The police said the accused, Mamta Uke, 51, had paid the deceased’s husband Rs 40,000 for civil work. But she felt the work was not done properly. The police said Uke kept calling Ashish Dhobi and demanding back the money paid to him. After some time, Dhobi stopped answering her calls. Enraged, Uke went to Dhobi’s house on Thursday morning.
