Maharashtra accorded full state honours to Ajit Pawar on Thursday as his mortal remains were taken to the Vidya Pratishthan ground in Baramati for the last rites.

Family members, senior leaders arrive to pay respects

Family members, including his wife Sunetra Pawar and sons Jay and Parth Pawar, were present as senior leaders gathered to pay their respects. Former Union minister Sushil Kumar Shinde and his daughter, Congress leader Praniti Shinde, also arrived at the venue ahead of the funeral.
