With BMC polls just a few weeks away, strategies and game plans to conquer the elections have already started among the political parties in Mumbai. In view of strengthening Shiv Sena’s hold in the upcoming BMC elections, the Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Shiv Sena president Eknath Shinde on Sunday said that preparations for the upcoming municipal elections have been intensified. He further said that party branch heads will play a pivotal role in the upcoming civic polls. 

Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, while addressing a meeting of all branch heads and office bearers in Mumbai, underscored that the grassroots leadership of the party forms its backbone and will be central in ensuring victory, reported IANS.
