Promoting the blend of culture and technology, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Sunday virtually inaugurated the 'Tech Wari' initiative organised by Arihant Public School in Pandharpur. The event was held against the backdrop of the Ashadhi Ekadashi celebrations, drawing attention to how modern technology can enrich age-old traditions.
According to a statement from the Deputy Chief Minister’s office, the programme highlighted student-developed Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects and practical tech solutions, many aimed at improving the experience for Warkari devotees who flock to Pandharpur during the Ashadhi pilgrimage.
During a virtual session, Shinde interacted directly with the students, who showed a range of innovations including smart attendance systems, automated classroom setups, and energy-efficient devices. The young participants also shared their ideas on how AI can enhance learning spaces and address broader public needs.
