Covid-19: Mumbai logs 65 cases, zero deaths for ninth day in a row

Meanwhile, Maharashtra reported 535 fresh cases, 963 recoveries, 10 deaths in the last 24 hours and 454 tested positive for Omicron

For the ninth day in a row, the financial capital of the country recorded zero pandemic-related deaths. Mumbai on Saturday reported 65 new Covid-19 cases, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation said. 

With this, the active cases in the city stand at 576. According to the BMC, 89 Covid patients recovered from the disease during this period taking the total number of recoveries since the onset of the pandemic in the city to 1,036,723.
