The Public Health Department of Maharashtra has reported a slight uptick in the Covid-19 cases, though officials claimed that the situation remains under control and there is no cause for public alarm.

On Saturday, the state clocked 86 new Covid-19 cases, with the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) reporting 31 patients.
