Officals from the civic body’s H West ward visited Khushi Pride Belmondo building at Santacruz West which is home to BJP leader Mohit Kamboj, two days after issuing a notice for alleged illegalities in the 14-storey structure. A detailed report on their findings is yet to be finalised.
The ward office had sent a notice to the owner or occupier of Khushi Pride Belmondo under section 488 of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act, 1888. The section allows BMC officials to enter premises for inspection, survey or execution of “necessary” work.
