BMC election results 2026: Full list of winners across key Mumbai wards

Shiv Sena secured 10 important victories in the municipal corporation. Rekha Yadav made history by winning Ward 1 as the first North Indian woman candidate to claim a seat in Mumbai’s civic body. Alongside her, Varsha Tembvalkar in Ward 51 and Shaila Lande in Ward 163 also emerged victorious, reinforcing Shiv Sena’s presence in the city

The results of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation elections were officially declared on Friday, highlighting significant wins for the Shiv Sena, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Congress, and Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray’s faction (UBT) across the 227 wards.

Winners have begun to emerge in the BMC elections as counting continues across Mumbai wards. Tejaswini Ghosalkar of the BJP has won from Ward 2, while Asha Kale of the Congress secured victory in Ward 183 (Dharavi). Sunil More registered a win for Shiv Sena (UBT – Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) from ward 123.

Meanwhile, the BJP–Shinde Sena alliance appears to be heading towards capturing control of the BMC.
