If unavoidable, ensure they are switched off &gt;&gt; Do not carry flammable items or sharp objects such as lighters or pocket knives &gt;&gt; Do not spread or believe rumours &gt;&gt; Candidates may greet voters door to door without distributing pamphlets, but no such activity is permitted within 100 metres of polling stations
