On Saturday, two youngsters from the city were found to have died of drowning in separate instances.

According to police 13 year-old Nikhil Tribhavne drowned at the Sardar Tara Singh Ganpati Visarjan point near Eastern Express Highway at around 4.45 pm.

The other case, that of 23 year-old Aabhu Ramchandra occurred at around 4.30 pm. Here, according to the Antop Hill police station, Ramchandra slipped and fell into a gutter at Motilal Nagar, Antop Hill. He reportedly drowned.
