"Hitesh was earlier been treated for obesity and had undergone multiple surgery in the year 2007 as he was suffering from obesity related problems. Currently, there are some complications that has arrived because of which he is unable to eat or drink anything. We have kept him under observation," said surgeron admiral Doctor Mohanty, managing director of Jaslok Hospital.
Dr Sanjay Borude of the Jaslok hospital who had earlier operated on Hitesh is apprently out of town because of which the surgery has been delayed.
"He will back on Monday and then we will take the actions accordingly. It will take at least a week for him to get better," said Dr Mohanty.
Apparenlty, the specail MCOCA court has ordered jail authorities to admit Hitesh after his health was deteriorating day by day and has not been able to take liquid diet.
Hitesh is presently lodged in Taloja jail after he was shifted from Arthur Road prsion for security reasons. He was arrested for conspiring to comiit the murder of his father along with his mother Jaya Bhagat and other accomplices.
On June 13, Suresh Bhagat and six others were murdered in an orcheastrated accident on the Alibaug-Pen road near Shahabaz village.
