One person died and another was injured in a shootout as a result of a gang rivalry in Mumbai's Bhandup area said cops
The incident took place around 11 pm on Monday at the Sai Hill area of Bhandup. According to the police officials, 5 rounds were fired at two men identified as Santosh Chavan and Jamal.
The deceased person, Santosh Chavan
An officer from Bhandup police station said , "Four round of bullet hit Chavan who died on the spot and Jamal ended up injuring his arm and has been admitted to Sion Hospital."
Both the victims and the suspect, Amit Bhogale are history sheeters and early indications point out that the attack was a result of a possible gang-rivalry.
