On Saturday, Dasarath Sasane (28) was sentenced to life imprisonment for killing his wife.


He would often demand money from her. On September 8, 2013, he demanded money for alcohol. But she refused.



He poured five litres of kerosene on her and set her ablaze. She died after giving the statement. Next day, Sasane was arrested.
