Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday said that his government is working on beach cleaning and liquid waste management as part of its efforts to protect the marine ecosystem

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday said that his government is working on beach cleaning and liquid waste management as part of its efforts to protect the marine ecosystem. "It was wonderful to meet and discuss marine environment with Mr Erik Solheim, UN Environment Executive Director, last evening (sic)," Fadnavis tweeted. "We are putting in efforts for beach cleaning and for solid and liquid waste management which will help protect the marine ecosystem," he wrote in the microblogging site Twitter. "We also discussed about our Climate Resilient Agriculture project with World Bank and shifting of agricultural feeders on solar energy," the Chief Minister further tweeted.
