The Kashimira Police of the Mira-Bhayander Vasai-Virar in Maharashtra have detained a teenager who allegedly stabbed his coaching class teacher in broad day light, the officials said on Sunday.

The incident took place in Penkarpada area of Mira Road on Thursday, the police said.



According to the police sources the suspect is a student. He is a 17-year-old. He surrendered himself at the police station after allegedly stabbing his teacher. The investigations are being further done to identify the exact cause of the incident.


The victim has been admitted to a hospital and he is under treatment. His condition is said to be stable, said a official source.
