MGL warns customers against fake messages and cyber fraud link

The Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) has warned its customers to stay alert against fraudulent messages, scam links and malicious APK downloads claiming to be related to gas bill payments or supply disconnection.
In a public advisory issued in Mumbai, the company said that several cases have recently been reported in which fraudsters are impersonating MGL officials through SMS and WhatsApp.
