Two men were arrested in relation to two horrific minor rape cases in Mumbai on Saturday.

The Kandivli police arrested a 32-year-old for allegedly raping a 9-year-old girl over the last three years. According to the FIR, the accused who knew the victim went inside her house and locked the door inside. The accused asked the minor girl to remove her clothes and then touched her inappropriately before raping her.



"He has been doing it for the last three years and threatened the minor not reveal this before anyone," read the FIR. The accused works at a construction site. He was arrested on Saturday after the victim revealed the incident to police.

In a similar case registered on Saturday, the Nagpada police arrested a 38-year-old man in an alleged rape case of a minor. As per the statement given by the mother of the victim, the accused, who lives in the same building, took the 9-year-old girl to his home on the second floor, saying that the victim's family is at his home. "He then took her inside his flat and touched her private parts using his tongue," read the FIR.

The minor then narrated the incident to her mother, who then took her to Nagpada police station and the cops registered an FIR against the accused, who was later arrested
