A notorious drug supplier, identified as Sohail Memon, has been arrested by the Juhu Anti-Terror Squad and over 5-kg of Mephedrone (MD) worth Rs 2.53 crore has been seized from his possession.

Sohail is believed to be a big supplier of MD in western parts of Mumbai, especially to people associated with the film industry.
Juhu unit police inspector Daya Nayak received information that a notorious criminal will be coming to Andheri, following which a trap was laid. “Memon was seen holding a suspicious object in his hand. During the search, we found more than 5-kg MD worth Rs 2.53 crore,” an officer of Juhu ATS said
According to Juhu ATS, Sohail has a criminal record and dozens of peddlers work under him. They collect consignment from him and supply to high profile customers.
