A 75-year-old resident of Malad West stabbed his 70-year-old wife to death on Saturday morning after he found himself doubting her character. After killing his wife, the old man also attempted suicide and stabbed himself. He is currently admitted at Cooper Hospital for further treatment.

The Malwani Police has registered a murder case and started investigation in the matter. The accused has been identified as Samruddin Chandasa Shaikh, a resident of Madh’s Shivaji Nagar, Malad West. The deceased is Mumtaz Samruddin Shaikh.
